Terms of Service

The service

Maven translates Yiddish and Hebrew into English, polishes English text, and (on the Advanced plan) transcribes Yiddish speech. Output is generated by AI and may contain errors; you are responsible for reviewing results before relying on them.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be able to form a binding contract to use Maven.

Plans, billing & cancellation

• Maven offers a free tier with a monthly allowance, and paid plans (Basic and Advanced) billed monthly through Stripe.
• Paid subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account; access continues through the end of the current billing period.
• Prices may change; we’ll give notice before a change affects you. Taxes may apply.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. If something goes wrong, email us — we’ll try to make it right.

Voice-to-text is in beta

Yiddish voice-to-text is a beta feature and may not always be accurate. It is provided on an as-is basis; by using it you acknowledge it is still improving.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Maven for unlawful content, to violate others’ rights, to abuse or overload the service, or to attempt to access it other than through the provided interfaces. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or its usage allowances.

Disclaimers & liability

Maven is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Software Plus Tech Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
