Maven is a Yiddish translation, polishing, and voice-to-text service built for Hasidic Yiddish — colloquial vocabulary, English code-switching, and the way people actually speak. It runs as a browser extension and a Mac app, with one account shared across both.
Maven is built by Software Plus Tech.
Credits
Maven’s Yiddish speech-to-text is built on top of open research and datasets contributed by ivrit.ai, a non-profit effort to make modern speech AI work for Hebrew and Yiddish. Their datasets are licensed under a modified CC BY 4.0 license.
